This is for the old comlab website. The new one may work differently, I haven't investigated it yet.

The comlab web pushing system is a little bit complex.

To put anything on the web you need to first of all log in to one of the Solaris machines (e.g. mercury) and run “use webpub”, this copies or symlinks the webpub application into your ~/packbin directory.

To edit or put anything on the web you need to modify the files in the /fs/websrc/oucl/work/firstname.lastname/ directory. After you have modified the files you have to run the webpub program over them.

Finally, you manually email the support@comlab.ox.ac.uk email address and ask them to modify your contact details page to include a link to this stuff.
