As far as I know there is no list of servers and the operating systems you run. However you can ssh into your own personal machine (if you have one) from outside the comlab network. The same possibly applies to individual machines in the common labs? mercury.comlab.ox.ac.uk is one public server that I know about, last I logged in it ran Solaris but that may have changed.
